I have been painting for 15 years although my love of art goes back further than that. My introduction to painting was brought about by joining an art workshop in 1996, and I have been painting ever since.

I have exhibited in many locations over the last number of years including Art Ireland in the RDS, Ardgillan Castle in Balbriggan, Art Alley in Malahide, Village Art Gallery in Skerries, CRC in Clontarf, Conradh Na Gaeilge in Harcourt Street and the Grange in Ballyboughal.   I had 2 previous joint exhibitions in The Skerries Mills with my colleagues.    In 2010  I hosted  exhibitions in  Baldoyle  and  Malahide Libraries.

You can also  see my paintings in  Merrion Square (East Side) on Sundays (Pitch 185).

I attended the National College of Art & Design for advanced art courses in the past. I paint principally on block canvas, my favourite medium being oil though I have also worked with watercolours, acrylics and charcoal.

My subjects are varied, ranging from Landscapes to Seascapes, Rural Life and Abstract but my favourite theme is Still Life. I enjoy painting fruit and vegetables and I think my inspiration is derived from my love of  food.  I taking pleasure in bringing the subject to life and my favourite colour green is expressed in many of my paintings.
